Continuing the music video promotion assignment.

My group has made relatively good progress on the video as we only had one day of shooting but have a whole scene done. We have many locations to film in so they might take a little bit longer to get the rest of the shots. The editor of the music video has also put together a rough draft of sorts in order to see how the shot composition will work for the opening of the music video. My group did plan to film at the football game but they ended up not filming there which might've been a blessing in disguise. This is because I believe that the football game is not a good place to film as you cannot control your surroundings which could cause rushing the filming causing you to get back shots. Other than that my group has mad pretty good progress so far and I'm excited to see what they do next.

For this music video I had already planned on promoting it through instagram and I have already created and posted multiple things on the instagram page. The link for the instagram will be posted below. I have taken lots of behind the scenes photos and videos that are ready to be posted on the instagram page to help promote the video even more. I plan to remain active on the instagram to continue to promote the music video. The most recent thing that I have done is that I created a sneak peak of what the beginning of the music video is going to be. I have also filmed videos of the cast, crew, and the cinematographer to post onto the instagram as it will also help promote the music video and mainly help promote the people who worked on it. This could even promote the video because if any of their friends see them in the video they might be inclined to follow the page which gets the instagram more followers.

So far in the music the aspects of identity that we plan on representing is personality and some of ability and disability. The way my group plans on showing this is through the unfortunate events that occur to the characters and there ability to overcome those challenges and be who they are. The music video's theme is that you can always overcome a challenge and they plan to show it through how their characters are optimistic and how they cope with the issues that they have encountered.
