Progress on the film opening

My group and I are starting to go into the pre production stage as we are gathering our actors for our film opening as well as gathering much of the resources we would like to use for our film. One of the main things we have gathered are locations for our film opening as well as some of the actors but we haven't gotten all that we need yet. The things we haven't obtained consist of mainly something to help us with our sound quality we also don't have our full script 100% finished and we don't have printed copies for our actors to begin to memorize. My group is like I said early in the stages of pre production as we have been busy focusing on our sweding project and the production of that project.

We plan to make many changes to our script as well as the story and characters just a bit. We want to emphasize the characters personalities and class as well as what they might represent through mise-en-scene. We plan to do this mainly through the characters outfits and their actions so we would like to pay more attention to that. Another thing we want to pay more attention to is the sound quality of our film as with our sweding project my group and I struggled to maintain a good sound quality. We also already know everyone's roles for our film such as cinematographer and editors this helps everyone focus on one part they enjoy more than the others which help the quality of our film go up as we have experience in each of our own respective fields.

Some issues I'm personally worried about is time, locations, sound and weather. I'm worried about time because if we run out of time we have to film everything again as this takes place during the day and if the sun sets we cannot continue the filming and have to film it another day. However this does help us a little as it helps us figure out what we like and what we can change through these failed takes. The locations worry me as I wonder how everyone will be able to get there because if we cant get all of our actors in one place then it will be harder to film and to organize a time and location for everyone to be able to go. Sound worries me as if our sound quality isn't adequate than we have to film again to get proper sound quality. Weather worries me as it affects every single one of my other worries such as wind affecting sound or a cloudy day blocking the sun or even it raining and ruining the location as it can get muddy.

One of my main inspirations is the Jackass franchise as they step out their comfort zone to perform these stunts which influences many different teens to do the same and acquire fame. Another inspiration is high school in general as many students strive to be popular in high school. The idea of popularity today is shown much more through social media usage and followers.

I like this photo as a representation of popularity as it is almost a hierarchy system where the most popular person is better than the others and the most looked up to person. This is shown in the photo as this one person is put on a pedestal in front of everyone else.
